The washroom
When I was leaving Montreal, I decided to stop at one of those rest areas on the side of the
road.
I go into the washroom. The first stall is taken, so I go into the second stall. I had just sat down
when I heard a voice from the other stall...
- Hi there, how is it going?
I’m thinking to myself, what the hell? Okay, I am not the type to strike up conversations with
strangers in the loos on the side of the road. I didn’t know what to say, so finally I say:
-Not bad...
Then the voice says:
- So, what are you doing?
I am starting to find this a bit weird and very uncomfortable, but I finally reply with:
- Well, I’m going back east...
Then I hear the person, all flustered, say:
- Look, I’ll call you back honey--every time I ask you a question this idiot in the next stall keeps
answering me!
...A harsh silence fell through the washroom. I gotta tell you I was relieved, But never before
had I felt so stupid! Damn you cell phones... You win this round.

90's Fashion
We can see that style has changed a lot through out the decades.Every decade has it's special style that represents it.For example we have: B boys(Hip-Hop),Grunge Kids,Ravers,Punks,Goths with their own specific style that portray mostly the 90's in general.
This kind of style, such as hip-hop and grunge was known as urban fashion, and it was very popular back then, and it still kinda is.
The hip-hop musicians wore baggy clothes and neon colors. At first glance this clothing may seem comical in nature, with its extreme bagginess and colorful hues, but there is a deeper historical meaning that can be derived from this fashion trend. It is said that some clothing styles fashionable in hip-hop culture (such as loose, baggy garments) allegedly derive from uniforms issued to prison inmates, from hand me downs, or because they are useful when shoplifting.”
Grunge on the other hand was essentially a slovenly, thoughtless, uncoordinated look, but with an edge. Iconic items for men and women were ripped and faded jeans, flannel shirts or wool Pendletons layered over dirty T-shirts with outdated logos, and black combat-style boots.
Other people that are known for their hip-hop,grunge style are: Eminem,Kanyne,Rihanna,A$AP rocky,Kurt Cobian.

The David Mathews foundation
Simon Mathews is an amazing man, but I’m fairly sure you’ve never even heard of him. He was an ordinary man from a regular family, living in just another English town. That is, until something extraordinary happened. His older brother, David, had always been a hero to Simon and when David completed the Berlin marathon using a pair of prosthetic legs, Simon got the necessary inspiration to start an amazing journey.
In 2009 Simon ran the London marathon, then the Marrakesh marathon and then the Rome marathon. You might not think this is such an amazing achievement, but he ran all three in just one month. By running in these marathons Simon helped to raise £30,000 for children’s charities.
The following year he climbed Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain and then followed it by conquering Everest, the world’s highest mountain. He planned to climb a third, Kilimanjaro, but halfway up weather forced him to turn back. In that year Simon raised over £50,000 for a local charity that supports the homeless.
By the next year he had decided to take up swimming. First he crossed the British channel and then narrowly failed to cross Lake Ontario but he did manage the 25 kilometers across the Red Sea. Again he managed to raise over £50,000, and this time he chose The Dogs Trust, a charity dedicated to helping find new homes for abandoned dogs.
Since then, Simon has been training for the big one. The next epic endurance test is a whopping 7,000-mile bike ride from the Netherlands to Vladivostok, Russia. He is presently training hard by cycling the hills near his home in Derbyshire. His charity this time is his most personal and noteworthy. The David Mathews foundation is a new charity that helps disabled people fulfill their sporting ambitions. Of course the charity was started by Simon to celebrate his brother’s achievement of completing the Berlin marathon against all expectations.
This year Simon was invited to meet the mayor in London where he was given a special award. Simon stood alongside other heroes who had raised money for hospitals, the elderly and special schools. Simon attended with his brother David, and in a warm acceptance speech he thanked his brother for being such a hero.

MY PET
I'm a small town girl that has a big heart for animals.I can say that I love animals more than people especially dogs and cats. But I prefer cats because I have one at home. I found him when I was 12 years old. I was playing with my childhood friends outside and saw this small kitten scared, wet and hungry. Because I'm a big cat lover I couldn't help myself so I took him on my arms and went home. I gave him something to eat and kept on feeding him everyday. It was summer so this cat was my biggest interest at that time.We named him Zhizhi. He's male and he looks like a tiger. I kept on buying cat food for him and he got really fat and cuddly. We bathed him every week and was very clean, but my mother didn't let me keep him inside so i bought him a small cat house and he would sit all day in it. I also bought him a small red ribbon around his neck. Unfortunately one day Zhizhi got lost, and my 12 year old heart broke. I don't know where he went or who took him,all i knew was that he went missing. The strangest thing happened after approximately 2 years he came back. He was sitting on my front door, all dirty and skinny.I wasn't sure if it was him,but when i called his name he responded immediately. I fed him of course, and kept him ever since. I'm not that involved with him than I was when I was 12,now I'm 17 and I have other things going on my life of course. But I still love him and still take care of him as much as I can.
