Intro: Agree
Supporting paragraph 1: Actions are more important than words
Example: When you say sorry it doesn't mean anything but when you actually show with your actions that you are sorry that is more important
Reason: Because words are easy, actions are a little harder
Personal Story: Recent trouble at school
The saying "Actions are louder than words" is quite popular and we hear it very often in song lyrics, movies and even everyday life. But is it accurate? Do I agree or disagree?
Of course I personally undoubtedly agree.
Firstly my opinion is that actions are way more important than words in general. Let's say for example you have done someone wrong and you feel very anxious and bad about it. You say sorry to the person but they won't believe you, therefore you have to show that person with actions that you are really sorry and that the issue won't repeat itself again.
I have a personal story that compliments the previous example.
A few months ago at school me and some of my other classmates decided to skip one entire day of school, however we didn't want to be punished for skipping class, so we came up with a plan. Our plan was to stink up the class with garlic so the principle would let the whole class go due to bad smell in our class. I have to say now writing this story I can see how childish it was. Nevertheless, we did it. The next day the school was in chaos because apparently the whole school stunk in garlic. So of course the principle was determined to find out who was responsible for it. Long story short, there were cameras all over school that we didn't know about so the culprits were caught. We embarrassed our class teacher in front on the principle and we felt really bad about it. Especially me since my class teacher is best friends with my mom and she has helped me with anything that I have ever wanted and needed, so needless to say I felt very bad for my childish actions.
Our punishment was very big. I personally said sorry to my class teacher million times but she didn't want to hear it. So I decided to show her with my actions that I was truly sorry and that she shouldn't expect things like that from me ever again. So for months I haven't been late to school, haven't skipped school whatsoever, improved all my grades and behaved more than ever during lessons. Just 1 month went by and my class teacher was very proud of me and I was finally forgiven.
The reason for this is because words are way to easy, anyone can say anything and these days you don't know who to trust. However actions are a different story. Not anyone can fake actions.
To summarize I agree very much with this statement because I truly feel that in order to show someone your true emotions you need to act more and speak less.
