‘Students shouldn't be allowed to use mobile phone's at school.’

We live in an era where the majority of people feel that going without technology for even a day is almost as impossible as stapling water to a tree. Especially the younger generation now that are in middle/high school, it is very difficult to convince them to not use any sort of technology while they are at school. However, this has become a big issue nowadays and it has been discussed that student's should be banned to use them.

I admit that I do belong to that younger generation, but I have found myself that I do not use my phone that very often at school. Yes that is true, it is 100% possible. I strongly believe that everyone can control their use of mobile phones, because to my mind they can be very useful.
For example, while you are in lesson and you come across an unfamiliar word that even your teacher cannot give you a proper definition, using your phone in this case is completely harmless also very helpful. It is a common belief that modern technology is way faster to find an unknown word rather than spending minutes searching for it in the dictionary. Although, many people believe that some student's may take this act for granted and start using their mobile phone's more often in class saying that they are using it for "learning".

On the other hand there are a lot of situations where our families need to contact us while we are at school. So telephones are actually very handy. However, other's still claim that using mobile phones at school even in lunch break is annoying to other students.

In conclusion, mobile phones can be very useful while you are out not just at school, but only when there is a good reason to communicate with someone. Lastly, it is a common fact that students should have the freedom to decide whether they need their mobile phones at school or not.
